A Book That Can Change Your Life by NR Gurney.


NR Gurney is pleased to announce that his first book will be going out at a reduced rate of £1 for week commencing 10 April on Kindle.

Neil started writing my books while working as a hospital porter in a local hospital. It took approximately 8 months during most of his lunchtimes. As an NHS employee he is aware that people are self isolating and wanted to provide some cheaper entertainment during this time.

The first book was called Green Mist Rising. It was an alternative Dimension tale about a Plymouth girl called Sarah Salter, who encounters a green skinned person. When she travels through to the parallel world, she encounters a world covered in green mist and is called upon to save a small nation facing immediate danger.  A reviewer described this book as fun to read.

Within a year Neil had written and published a second book which continued the adventures of Sarah salter starting when she lay in a hospital bed in Plymouth. This story with the nurses and doctors  confused as to why a local woman disappeared for almost a year, but is now in their ward with green skin. She is kept a virtual prisoner by security forces but is clearly planning something?

Neil’s third book is half written and taking shape nicely. It continues where book two finishes, and is based around the world of mountains and winter warfare.

Neil is now seeking to make contacts within the industry and to promote his books into screenplays and even series. His ideal goal would be to see a film produced or a Netflix series.
